Paris Weekend Break
Galleries and Museums
Paris has a great many museums and they range from those offering thousands of exhibits to those covering specialist themes or periods in history. The list below, whilst not totally complete, should act as a starting point in giving you and idea of what is on offer. The title of the museum normally goes a long way in terms of telling you about the exhibits on display.
If you are contemplating a cultural weekend break in Paris where you dedicate the majority of your time to galleries and museums, it may be worth considering the purchase a museum pass. A museum pass will give you access to all of the museums listed below and will remove the distractions of queuing for and buying tickets at each venue. These passes normally include gifts like concessionary drinks when you dine in a museum restaurant.
