Paris is the most visited city in the world and it is famed for its iconic buildings and landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. The Champs Elysees is the most famous street in Paris and possibly the world. It is also reputed to be the most beautiful with the Arc de Triomphe and the River Seine being just two of the tourist attractions you will encounter whilst walking down it. The Eiffel Tower may well be the world's most famous landmark, although many would dispute this claim. The Sacre Coeur basilica sits on top of Montmartre hill and looks accross the city of Paris. Its bleacged white facades and multiple domes make it quite different from any other building in the city. The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most monumental structures that you are ever likely to see and the size and scale of this massive archway can only be appreciated by seeing it first hand. Les Invalidesis something akin to a miniature town on the left bank of the river Seine with connections, a museum and exhibits related to France's military campaigns. The Palace of Versailles is said to be the most beautiful palace on earth and it is also probably the biggest.
